1. Khaki Fabric
Khaki (from Hindi: dusty color, light brown) is mainly used for military uniforms. It is made from cotton, wool, or a blend of synthetic fibers, then woven in different styles.
Khaki uniforms were introduced in 1848 by Sir Harry Burnett Lumsden and William Stephen Raikes Hodson for the British colonial army in India and were found to be particularly effective for battlefields and combat. Khaki was widely used during the Indian Rebellion (1857) and later became the official color for British, native, and colonial army uniforms.
Advantages of Khaki fabric: wrinkle-resistant, durable, and long-lasting in color.

In Vietnam, there are many types of Khaki fabric in use, but the following are the most common choices for cap production:
2. Vietnamese Khaki Fabric Type 1 and Type 2
Click here to purchase Samsung Khaki, AW fabric, and Acrylic fabric directly from the weaving factory.
This is the best choice for producing promotional caps for businesses with limited budgets. The quality and price of Vietnamese Khaki fabric are higher compared to polyester (dù) fabric. It is the most balanced option between quality and price. Typically, customers using Vietnamese Khaki caps are schools, training centers, and travel companies.

3. 65/35 Khaki Fabric Caps
65/35 Khaki fabric consists of 65% cotton and 35% polyester. With this ratio, the fabric maintains thickness, absorbency, and durability, but at a lower cost.
65/35 Khaki fabric comes in many colors, suitable for matching company logos. The basic colors are complete, while other shades are slightly adjusted from the main tones to create a diverse color palette for customers to choose from.

In the same price range, 65/35 Khaki fabric has more advantages than other fabrics in terms of durability, texture, and color variety.
4. 100% Cotton Khaki Caps
100% Cotton Khaki fabric is tightly woven from pure cotton, providing a cool and breathable feel. Cotton is famous for its sweat absorption, elasticity, and ability to highlight embroidery or printed designs on its surface.

5. Velvet Cotton Khaki Caps
This fabric is originally 100% cotton Khaki but with a surface treatment that lightly brushes the fabric, giving it a velvet-like softness. Velvet Khaki is more expensive than standard cotton Khaki due to the extra brushing process. It is often used for premium caps for companies, banks, luxury travel tours, international schools, and exported caps to Southeast Asia, the US, and Europe.

6. Thanh Cong Khaki Fabric
Produced by Thanh Thanh Cong company in Vietnam. Thanh Cong Khaki fabric is mainly composed of 83% cotton and 17% PE, widely used in cap production.
Thanh Cong is a well-known textile manufacturer in Vietnam, and its product quality has been trusted for a long time by many customers.

7. Korean Khaki or Samsung Khaki Caps
Samsung Khaki fabric is imported from Korea. It belongs to the Khaki family but is produced with Korean technology and machinery. Its price is higher than velvet cotton Khaki. The fabric is firm and very durable, often used for snapback caps.

8. Waxed and Non-Waxed Denim Fabric
Denim fabric is woven from two yarns in indigo color, made from Cotton Duck, a type of coarse cotton fabric. Denim is popular for its durability, maintaining color and elasticity even after multiple washes.
Denim is often used in cap production for many technical or industrial product brands.

9. Polyester (Dù) Fabric
Polyester (dù) fabric is a high-quality fabric usually made from two or more materials such as cotton, polyester, nylon, and/or rayon. It is coarse yet breathable, very durable, water-resistant, washable, and quick-drying.
Today, polyester fabric is widely used in industrial manufacturing and fashion products such as clothing, backpacks, bags, hammocks, and especially in advertising caps.

10. Mesh Fabric
Mesh fabric is made from PVC or PP plastic beads. Unlike woven fabrics from natural fibers, mesh is created from plastic beads that are processed to form sheets with specific stiffness, serving different applications.
– High aesthetics: Mesh is available in many colors for customers to choose from. Attractive and vibrant colors enhance the product’s design appeal.
– Flexible and breathable: Mesh fabric is elastic and often combined with other fabrics in caps. It provides maximum breathability, often used in golf caps or sportswear caps.

11. Spandex Fabric
Spandex fabric is a fabric with elasticity. It is the most flexible and commonly used fabric today for making clothing. Spandex is easy to use and sew, loved by fabric sellers, designers, and consumers alike. Depending on the material blend and production method, many different types of spandex fabrics exist to meet diverse needs.

12. Xi Fabric
Xi fabric is mainly made from PE, so its sweat absorption is only average. Because it is thinner than Khaki fabric, it gives a cooler feel for the wearer.
Xi fabric is used for producing lightweight caps, suitable for factories and workplaces.
13. Simili (Faux Leather) Fabric
Simili is a type of fabric made to imitate real leather. It is structured with layers woven from polyester and PVC plastic. The surface is coated with a shiny layer that looks like genuine leather.
Simili fabric is used to make stylish fashion caps. However, it has very poor absorbency and is not suitable for cap production in Vietnam.
